Description
The purpose of the Matawa First Nations Community and Life Experiences Volume 2 (North) is to highlight the past and present life experiences of elders and youth in the northern Matawa First Nations: Eabametoong (Fort Hope), Marten Falls (Ogoki Post) and Neskantaga (Lansdowne House). In addition, this book identifies the aspirations of these communities and reserves as described by the participants.
J.P. Jacasum was a Cree translator and interpreter with the Ojibway and Cree Cultural Centre interested in learning more about the life experiences of elders and youth in NAN.
