How the Year Got Twelve Months
This story takes place in a Native community. It begins inside a house where the story teller demonstrates making fried bannock with berries. The group then moves outside where they enjoy the fried bannock with tea while they listen to the legend about how the year got twelve months. When the legend is finished, the children are told the moral of the legend.
