This history of the Cree and Ojibway of Northern Ontario deals briefly with each of the following: the pre-contact Cree and Ojibway; the fur traders; the missionaries; the increase of European settlers into Canada; the James Bay Treaty; the Indian condition; and the rebirth of the Nishnawbe-Aski Nation.
