This reader was translated and developed by Native language teachers attending a workshop held at the Victoria Inn in Thunder Bay on March 1ÛÒ2, 2006. How’s the Weather Outside? Spring, and I Like Winter were translated from Cree into Ojibway, while I See (a new book in the series) was written in Oji-Cree.These books were illustrated by students from the Matawa First Nations Council and Mushkegowuk Tribal Council areas.
Working Together is an initiative undertaken by the Ojibway and Cree Cultural Centre to develop Native reading materials using the skills and talents of the people within the Nishnawbe Aski Nation.
